When a storm tears through Franconia and shingles start peeling off the roofline, you need a crew that picks up the phone and shows up — not a call center that puts you on hold.
Roof Repair Smedway didn't start as a franchise looking for a market to plant a sign in. Our crews trained on real tear-offs, real ridge vents, and real attic inspections in Franconia, NH before we ever put a truck on the road under this name.
Licensing and insurance aren't a line item we mention once and forget — we keep documentation current and available on request, because a homeowner signing off on a Commercial Roofing project deserves proof, not a promise.
We've seen what happens when a roof gets "good enough" instead of done right — the drywall stains, the mold behind the insulation, the second call nobody wanted to make. Our Commercial Roofing teams build to avoid that call entirely.
Every lead technician carries current state credentials before stepping on a ladder.
Storm damage doesn't check a calendar, so neither does our on-call rotation.
Every estimate is itemized in writing so you know exactly what you're paying for.
Faster arrival times because the truck was already nearby.
By the time water is visibly dripping into a room, the damage underneath the surface has usually been developing for a while.
If your downspout discharge looks like sand, the UV-protective coating on your shingles is breaking down faster than it should.
Once a shingle starts warping, it's no longer sealing properly against wind-driven rain.
Visible light through the roof deck is a direct sign the barrier between your attic and the weather has been compromised.
Ceiling stains tend to grow slowly, which is exactly why they're often ignored until the damage spreads.
Energy bills that creep upward without an obvious reason are worth checking against your roof's condition.
Missing shingles expose the underlayment, which is only designed as a temporary secondary barrier, not a long-term surface.
Not every roof problem calls for the same fix, which is why we scope each job individually instead of running every call through one generic estimate.
Active leaks after a storm get a same-day response whenever it's physically possible — a temporary tarp-down first, a permanent fix scheduled right behind it.
Every residential estimate walks the homeowner through material options, from standard architectural shingles to impact-rated upgrades.
Commercial roofs carry different loads and different membrane systems than residential shingles, and our crews are trained on TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen accordingly.
Old, layered shingle systems often need a full tear-off rather than an overlay, and we'll tell you honestly which one your roof actually needs.
Post-storm inspections give homeowners a documented record for insurance purposes, whether or not a claim is ultimately filed.
If a roof has an unusual pitch, an older material system, or a custom architectural feature, our senior crews handle the scoping personally.
A dispatcher takes down your address, roof type, and the issue, then routes it to the nearest available crew in Franconia, NH.
A technician walks the roof, checks the attic side when accessible, and documents the damage with photos.
You receive an itemized, written estimate before any work begins, covering materials, labor, and disposal.
Warranty documentation is provided on completion for both materials and labor.
Crews dispatched from within Franconia, NH reach most Franconia calls faster than out-of-area companies quoting a two-week wait.
Every job gets a written estimate before a single nail is pulled, so there's no surprise number waiting at the end.
Crews carry moisture meters, infrared scanners for larger jobs, and proper fall-protection gear on every site.
Every repair and install comes with a workmanship warranty separate from the manufacturer's material warranty.
Our estimates are itemized in a format most carriers recognize, which speeds up claim approval.
If a repair is all your roof needs, we'll say so — we don't push a full replacement to inflate the invoice.
Every Commercial Roofing project closes with a written warranty covering our labor, separate from whatever coverage the shingle or membrane manufacturer already provides.
If a crew leader finds something during teardown that changes the scope, you'll hear about it before it changes your bill, not after.
We keep multiple crews staged across Franconia, NH so that a storm hitting one part of the region doesn't leave the rest of Franconia waiting.
Dispatch routes are planned around Franconia's actual neighborhoods and access roads, not a generic radius drawn on a map, which is part of why our arrival estimates tend to hold up.
